A classic image of The Marbella Club Hotels Pool and Beach Club in the mid-1980's. Now a Leading Hotel of the World, the Marbella Club was a pioneer of “barefoot luxury” when it was opened in the 1950s by Prince Alfonso von Hohenlohe, who wanted to share Marbella’s unique climate and relaxed way of life with fellow members of the international jet-set, basically founding Marbella as the world-famous resort town it is today.
